Our enhanced safety measures are there to help keep you and our people safe on board. We’d ask that you read these in detail before you travel and thank you in advance for helping us keep all our passengers and people safe.

What's in place

 

To protect you and our people

  • We'd ask you to follow the latest government guidelines. For England, please see gov.uk for EnglandFor Scotland, please see the Scottish government website, For Wales, please see the Welsh government website
  • You're able to sit together on board, but we still recommend you keep your distance from others where you can.
  • Face coverings will no longer be required on board, at coach stops or in coach stations in all nations. But we’d recommend you continue to wear one. 
  • Anti-bac stations are fitted on board all our coaches.
  • Keep to your seat, especially when the coach is moving.

Keeping it clean

  • Enhanced cleaning regimes are in place on our coaches, coach stations and customer service desks.
  • We have full cleaning regimes and increased filter changing schedules for our air conditioning units and use a HVAC filter which is 99.9%* effective against Covid-19.  
  • Customer touch points are always cleaned regularly throughout the day.
  • You'll find anti bac stations at both the front and middle of every coach. If you're travelling in Scotland, you'll find your anti-bac station at the front of the coach.

 

What we’re asking you to do to help us

  • It's best not to travel if you're feeling unwell.
  • Make sure you’re following the driver’s instructions at all times – they’re there to help keep you safe. Though please avoid distracting the driver when the coach is moving - unless it's an emergency.
  • We recommend you keep your distance from others where you can.
  • Clearly label your luggage with your destination to help with loading and unloading.
  • Face coverings will no longer be required on board, at coach stops or in coach stations in all nations. But we’d recommend you continue to wear one. 
  • Please keep to your own seat and try not to move around the coach when you're on the road.
  • Please make sure of the anti bac stations when getting on board the coach.

Information for passengers requiring assistance

To avoid disappointment, we recommend that all wheelchair users contact us before purchasing their tickets (preferably at least 36 hours before their intended journey) to book their wheelchair space and to allow us time to make your journey as comfortable as possible. Plus you’ll be able to tell us whether a personal care attendant (PCA) will be with you on board. Find out more here.
