Introducing the megasightseeing.com London Bus Tour

To celebrate the launch of our brand new London bus tour - megasightseeing.com, we invited a whole bunch of special guests to help us kick things off.

That’s right, we thought we’d treat a busload of bloggers, journalists and – of course – Sid to the very first trip around London’s most coveted sites on one of our brand new megasightseeing.com buses.

Starting at the London Eye, our guests surveyed the bustling metropolis below with champagne (and cameras) in hand, gazing upon the very streets our tour would take them winding around. After enjoying the welcome drinks, we took to the open top buses and found our seats under the delightful April sun.

Megasightseeing-1

Our London bus tour weaves around the capital on a special sightseeing route that takes guests from sight to sight – all the while surprising and enlightening with facts and anecdotes about each location. And what a day it was to enjoy all that London has to offer! The top of the bus turned into our very own private sun lounger. Not only that, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a stunning sunset, which peaked just as we were crossing Tower Bridge. Seeing the world like this confirms what a special perspective the tour bus offers – raising you above the crowds and barriers and granting beautiful, uninterrupted views.

There’s 50 of London’s best-known sights on the route and with tickets available from only £1*, what’s not to love? Our tour started and finished by the London Eye, but there are two other stops where you can catch a megasightseeing.com tour – Tower of London and Park Lane. Amongst other fantastic sights, we saw architectural marvels such as Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Sid himself joined us on the megasightseeing.com bus’ maiden voyage, helping our guests find their seats and waving at excited passers-by from the top deck – with a little help, of course.

As the tour ended and the bus drew up to its final stop, Sid took his opportunity to pose for selfies (he’s rather photogenic!) and to wave our guests goodbye.

We had a wonderful time on our opening trip and were so glad to have spent it with our special guests. We can’t wait to see you on one of our next megasightseeing.com trips!
