Bus from Bridgwater to Bristol

Bridgwater is a small town 60 km south of Bristol and 21 km from the mouth of the River Parrett.

Places of interest to visit:
The Blake Museum is housed in the restored 17th Century home of the Blake family.

The Somerset Brick and Tile Museum tells the story of brick and tile manufacturing which was once a major industry in Bridgwater.

The Bridgwater and Taunton Canal opened in 1827 to link the two towns. It no longer serves a commercial purpose but now provides opportunities for boating and for pleasant walks along its banks.

Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station is approximately 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Regular bus connections are available. Station facilities include staffed ticket office, waiting room and toilets.
