London to Liverpool – your essential guide

Where does the megabus stop in London and Liverpool?

Coaches to Liverpool leave from London’s Victoria coach station. It’s in a central area of the city – close to Westminster Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. Use the District, Circle or Victoria Underground line to get here. Or, hop on a bus or catch a mainline train to London Victoria train Station. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

Your bus will arrive at the Liverpool ONE Bus Station in the city centre. It’s off Paradise Street, next to Liverpool ONE shopping centre, so you can head straight there if a bit of retail therapy is in order. You’ll see the giant John Lewis pretty much as soon as you step off the coach. If shopping isn't your thing, have no fear as Liverpool has plenty to keep you entertained. As for getting around, Liverpool is fairly compact so you can walk to lots of places. Or, download a Liverpool cycle map and hire a CityBike – there are pick-up and drop-off stations around the city.

If you’re here for the University of Liverpool, you’ll be pleased to know the main campus is only a 20-minute walk away. Liverpool John Moores University’s City and Mount Pleasant campuses are in the city centre, too.
